Administrative Coordinator
The Opportunity
Atlantic Wealth Management (AWM) is currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This permanent, full-time position is 100% in-office and will report to the Chief of Staff.
Salary: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Required Qualifications
This job requires post-secondary education and a minimum of three years’ industry experience. The candidate must have a solid foundation/knowledge of investment and life insurance processes and procedures. Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products. Strong communication and organizational skills are a necessity, with the ability to adapt quickly to daily changes and distractions. This position requires discretion and a commitment to respecting confidentiality.
Desired Qualifications
An ideal candidate will be highly professional, a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service, excited to play a critical role in a fast-paced practice and contribute to the success of AWM. Insurance and mutual fund licensed are considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, process, and follow up on applications and client service requests.
• Schedule and prepare material for client meetings.
• Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
• Run insurance illustrations.
• Manage all necessary documentation for the client base and keep up to date with compliance regulations.
